C▪︎Cue card topic - Favourite City
                        Hyderabad
Thank you very much for this nice cue card topic. My favourite city is Hyderabad.  Hyderabad is the capital of southern India's Telangana state. Its Telangana's largest are most populous city.
From 1956 to 2014 Hyderabad was the capital of Andhra Pradesh, but with the creation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh in 2014, it was redesignated as the capital of both states i.e. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The climate here is warm to hot and monsoonal. Most of the rain fall during the month of June to October, November to January the weather is cold and February marks the onset of scorching summer that last upto May.
Hyderabad was founded by the Qutub Shahi Sultans of Golconda.
Hyderabad has become a hub of trade and an international center of IT.
Tourism has grown in significance. Pharmaceuticals and textiles are among the items manufactured there. The city is also associated with the production of Telgu language films, which gave rise to its nickname 'Tollywood'.
Its historic sites include Golconda fort, The Charminar, Chawmala Palace, Salar Jung Museum etc. Hyderabad is known for its pearls. One can get them in most jewellery shops. Hyderabadi Biryani and Irani chai ( Tea ) are the most popular cuisines.
Good to hangout as there are many tourist places like Necklace road, Shopping malls, Parks etc. Very good city to live, anyone can live there either poor or rich.
D▪︎ Cue card topic- Favourite Lake
                  Hussain Sagar Lake
Thank you for this nice cue card topic. My Favourite lake is Hussain Sagar lake of Hyderabad.  Hussain Sagar is a necklace shaped lake in Hyderabad built by Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah and named after Hussain Shah Wali who helped to design it. It spread across an area of 5.7 sq. Km.and is fed by the river Musi. The maximum depth of the lake is 10 feet. Hussain Sagar Lake is the largest heart shaped mark formed by 78 heart shaped lakes on the face of the earth.  A large statue of Gautam Buddha was erected in 1992, which stands in the middle of the lake. It was carved by 200 sculptures for two years. It was chiseled out of a white granite rock, weighing 450 tons.
Infact this statue looks even more beautiful, when it gets illuminated with colourful lights at night time. To add extra charm dozens of flower pots have placed around this statue. It has become a frequent stop for all the visitors.  Overall I would say it is one of the most fascinating statue that I have ever seen in my life and I definitely recommend others to experience this marvelous piece of art.
